But of course there are always the rules......
just dropped a great idea on me! Many of us have shipping charts and/or have a plethora of pairings we like, be they flushed, pale, caliginous, or ashen! So to have some fun with that as well as populate this club with all of your beautiful artwork, we're holding a little Summer-long event that shall be referred to as "Summertime Shippin', Shippin' in the Summertime!" (This'll probably continue until mid-August.)Alright, time for a breakdown of what this event is actually about! No, it's not a contest! It's simply a way to have fun with your shipping and make lovely arts while doing so!
First off, you should probably plan out a shipping chart so you can keep track of what pairings you want to do and which ones you've already done!
Here's the fun part....You're going to draw or write for any/all of your ships! You can do a particular pairing more than once!
The goal is to write/draw something for all of your ships before the Summer is over! Try to do all of your pairings and not just your favorites! You wanna do as many as you can!
Since ships can have more than one side to them (such as flushed and pale), you can make two separate works for that pairing, one featuring the characters' matespritship and the other their moirallegiance! Or you could do them both in the same work! It's up to you!
Submit your lovely art and stories here and in any other group you deem necessary!
If you make a shipping chart, try and link back to it if you post something for this event! It helps keep things a little more organized!
If you write something that takes place in an AU or has bloodswaps or something of the like, make sure the clarify that in the artist's comment section!
No smut! Remember that the majority of the Homestuck characters are underage! And pornographic content isn't allowed on deviantArt anyway!
Please keep Zingled logs to a minimum and only post your own creations!Most importantly, have fun! There's no point in something like this if you're not having fun!
